Stories

It is our mission to create the most caring and home-like environment possible. We believe this philosophy is a major reason for our continued success in post-acute care.

Instead of listing why a Golden LivingCenter would be right for you or your loved one, we feel you will get a better understanding from the patient and resident stories below.

Nellie Anderson Golden LivingCenter – Tarboro | Tarboro, N.C.

When Nellie Anderson came to Golden LivingCenter – Tarboro in North Carolina, her goal was simple: to become independent again and cook Christmas dinner for her family. The simple joy of preparing a meal for her family was something she had not been able to do for the past three years.

When Nellie arrived at Tarboro, she was unable to move from her bed to her chair without assistance. Now, after less than a month and a half of rehabilitation, Nellie's life has changed. She not only met but exceeded her physical and occupational therapy goals.
