Dawn M. has been with Golden Living and its predecessors for 10 years and considers herself a poster child for the company's advancement opportunities. She started as an Admissions Director, then became a member of her LivingCenter’s activities department, and then became an Orientation Instructor. From there was promoted to Executive Director of her current LivingCenter, where she now oversees daily operations and works with families, residents and staff to ensure the best possible customer service and quality care.

Dawn takes much pride in working for Golden Living and has been thankful for the company’s many health-based employee programs, which have helped her quit smoking and lose weight.

She also believes the best thing about her career as a long-tem care administrator is ensuring residents receive the best care possible, families receive peace of mind; and staff has a warm and friendly environment to work in.

“When you follow these principles,” says Dawn, “the end result will always be positive, no matter how difficult the journey might have been.”
